What is glossy cardstock?
Glossy cardstock is a heavier coated paper with a shiny, reflective finish. It's thicker than standard glossy paper, which makes it a good fit for postcards, business cards, and covers.

FAQs About Glossy Cardstock Paper
Glossy paper has a high-shine finish that makes colors pop and photos look vibrant. Satin paper has a low-sheen, near-matte finish with just enough gloss to keep color looking sharp. Choose glossy when you want maximum impact from images. Choose satin when the piece has a lot of text or will be handled often.
What weight is glossy cardstock?
Glossy cardstock typically starts around 80 lbs and goes up from there. Lighter-coated stock works for flyers and booklet pages. Heavier glossy cardstock is better for postcards, business cards, and invitations.
What is glossy paper best used for?
Common uses of glossy paper include brochures, flyers, photo prints, booklets, postcards, business cards, and high-end marketing pieces. The coated surface reproduces color and fine detail more accurately than uncoated paper, so photography-heavy projects look noticeably better on gloss.
What sizes does glossy cardstock come in?
Church Paper carries glossy cardstock and satin paper in 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 14, 11 x 17, 12 x 18, and 13 x 19, plus additional sizes. Packs typically run from 250 to 500 sheets. Custom sizes are also available if your project needs something outside standard dimensions.
